Is Coaching For Me?
Raise your hand if you played sports as a kid? Or were you part of a club? Or participated in an activity where you had an adult leading you?
Yeah, that’s just about everyone.
That means that you’ve had a coach.
Of course, when you’re young…it’s to be expected. After all, that’s how we learned things.
Not Your Boss or Friend
And no, I’m not talking about your boss or your friends.
But an impartial coach who has skills, wisdom, and the ability to bring you to that next level?
Okay…I know that quite a few hands went down with that question.
But why? Why don’t you have a coach?
A coach can do AMAZING things for you – on so many levels!
A Business Coach Changed My Life
I’ve been fortunate to have some fantastic coaches during my lifetime – on both a personal and professional basis. In fact, I can say that I wouldn’t be the person I am today without these people.
They brought out the very best in me. They challenged me. They guided me. They made me think. They made me question. They made my confidence soar. They understood me.
Really, I could go on and on…but you get the picture.
And yes, I understand that it can be a definite leap of faith to find a coach and, perhaps, you’re not even sure if you need one, but I want you to ask yourself a few questions:
Do you have doubts?
Do you lack confidence?
Do you need support?
Do you need a plan?
Do you want to make changes?
Do you want more, but you’re unsure how to get it?
Do you need help managing your energy?
Do you need help staying motivated?
Do you need to find your voice?
Do you want to understand where you fit in?
Do you need assistance taking your place at the table?
Yes Or No?
Did you find yourself nodding yes to one, two, five, or all of these things?
Yup…you need a coach.
There are business coaches. Life coaches. Confidence coaches. Accountability coaches. Leadership coaches.
There are one-on-one coaches. Large group coaches. Small group coaches.
There are in-person coaches. There are virtual coaches.
Do you see where I’m going with this?
There’s a coach for everyone – no matter what you may need or what your style or preferences are.

There’s a coach for everyone – no matter what you may need or what your style or preferences are.
You may be thinking, “Well, I can go to my boss,” or “I can talk with my friends about X, Y, and Z…” – but they’re not a coach – and let me tell you why.
Your boss may be super smart and even offer you great advice, but at the end of the day, your boss has their own agenda. Whether it be to get that next promotion or hit that budget or please their boss – you need to understand that they might not be the most impartial person to be coaching you.
And when it comes to your friends, well, they’re your friends for a reason – because they support you 110%, through thick and thin, no matter what you do – which means they’re not impartial either.
A coach, on the other hand, is going to give it to you straight. They’re going to be able to look at you and offer you advice that has no hidden agenda.
And they’ll do this in a realistic manner that will only help you.
Thank you Bob
I’ve had that kind of coaching. During my career, I had a coach named Bob. He wasn’t my boss. He wasn’t part of my circle of friends. He was my coach. And he helped me more than I can ever put into words with my career. (And, yes…his coaching spilled over into my personal life, too. After all, work and personal are never completely separated – no matter how hard we try.)
You Deserve a Bob
You deserve a Bob.
Because yes, coaching is for you!
Coaching is for everyone!
